hi, I'm

Arthur
Cunha.

<Full-stack software engineer />

I build enterprise systems in C# (.NET) and React for a multinational, on a team spread across several countries. Before that, I looked after a hotel checkout serving 4,000+ people per minute. I like code that ships and keeps working.

01 — about

About me.

← the short version

I'm a full-stack software engineer. On the backend I work with C# (.NET), Java and Node.js, and on the frontend with React and TypeScript. I like owning a problem end to end, from the API to the screen.

On the backend, I build REST APIs and microservices in .NET 8, Java and Node.js (NestJS), with BFFs, multi-tenant architecture and relational databases versioned through ORM and migrations. I've maintained an API serving 4,000+ users per minute, where availability and performance aren't optional. On the frontend, React and Next.js talking straight to those services.

I also own the path to production: unit and integration tests with xUnit, CI/CD pipelines in Azure DevOps, Docker and AWS (Lambda and EC2). And I use AI as an engineering tool: Claude Code with MCP servers, hooks and subagents wired to the repo, to implement, refactor and review with real code context. I write code thinking about whoever reads it next.

Where I've worked and what I shipped there.

  1. commit 1648553HEAD → currentAug. 2026 to now

    DTI Digital

    Full-Stack Software Engineer

Consulting on enterprise systems for a multinational in the refractories industry, with C# (.NET 8) on the backend and React on the frontend.

    • Maintenance and support of a global inventory control system in the refractories industry, used by sites in several countries: fixes, improvements and new features across the .NET 8 backend and the React frontend.
    • Daily work in a global team, with leads in other countries and time zones: code review, technical alignment and coordinated releases.
    • Set up and maintain the CI/CD pipelines in Azure DevOps, tuning build and release across environments.
    • Unit, automated and integration tests with xUnit, cutting regressions in critical systems.
    • Claude Code every day, with CLAUDE.md, slash commands, hooks, subagents and MCP servers connected to the repo.
    • Automated checks before every pull request (lint, static analysis, build and tests), reducing rework in code review.
  2. commit dd3efa3Aug. 2024 to Jul. 2026

    Utrip

    Software Engineer

The company's booking engine, on a multi-tenant architecture, with Java, Node.js (NestJS) and React.

    • Microservices from the BFF to the full migration of the quotation and booking services, with Java and Node.js (NestJS).
    • Maintained and optimized the hotel checkout API, used by 4,000+ users per minute, keeping it highly available.
    • Checkout frontend in React and Next.js (cart, rooms and rates), integrated with the microservices and external systems (PMS).
    • Modeled and versioned the MySQL schema with ORM and migrations, keeping it consistent across environments.
    • Dashboards with React, Vite and Tailwind CSS.
